The Icelandic Unnur Fridriksdottir, founded the company UNNURWEAR, in 2006, making high quality handbags, accessories and clothing for fashion forward women all over the world.
Unnur has in this short time won innovation awards for her entrepreneur visions and designs. In summer 2007 Unnur’s handbags were displayed in Iceland’s largest design exhibition to date, Magma/Kvika, at Kjarvalsstadir Art Museum in Reykjavik.
Unnur’s specialty is using sea-leather in her handbags…yes FISH! The fish being used in the current collections is farm grown Icelandic Salmon and farm grown African Perch. After all the name UNNUR means in Icelandic “the waves of the ocean”.
In using sea-leather UNNURWEAR is contributing to sustainable fashion, and not endangering any species. There is nothing fishy about that!
The sea-leather smells like regular leather, and the more it’s worn – the better it looks!
UNNURWEAR is about global consciousness of culture, nature and comfort. After all, we are just natural.

Hallo Friend,
I like to introduce my self Avijit Ghosh, Male , 30 years a Textile Design graduate from National Institute Of Fashion Technology ( NIFT)2002, working in S.P.J.Textile Pvt. Ltd. a India renowned home textile export house from 2002 to still continue as a designation of Design head and Marketing manager for all home textile market.
I have experience in all section of home textile design, display, installation, visual marketing, international shows participation,international theme pavilion exhibition like Heimtextile, Germany, Frankfurt, Domotex Hanover, Germany, Masionobjet, Paris France and others from year 2005 to 2009.
I developed the product with marketing area and design for world wide renowned international textile buyers like IKEA,Wall mart, Zara Home, Mohawk Home,Next and others
Nw I like to explore my creativity and enrich my experience wrk with Eurpian , Italy designers,organization.
